Palace Theatre location
Located near the end of the legendary theatre row on Shaftesbury Avenue, the Palace is a gleaming centre point in London’s theatreland. As well as being home to a wealth of venues, Shaftesbury Avenue has lots of cool places to eat and drink, including the famous Chinatown and Leicester Square. The venue's central location means there are excellent public transport links.
By tube
- The nearest tube stations to the Palace theatre are Leicester Square (for the Northern and Piccadilly Lines) and Tottenham Court Road (for the Central and Northern Lines)
- 3 minutes from Leicester Square: Exit the station and head straight up Charing Cross Road. As you reach a crossroads the theatre is on the left hand side on Shaftesbury Avenue
- 6 minutes from Tottenham Court Road: Exit the station and head south down Charing Cross Road. Keep walking until you meet a big junction. The theatre is on your right hand side, on Shaftesbury Avenue

- Buses to Shaftesbury Avenue: 14,19,38
- Buses to Charing Cross Road: 14, 19, 24, 38, 176
By car
- The Palace sits inside the city's Congestion Charge Zone, operational weekdays 7am- 6pm except on bank holidays and costing £10 per day
- If you're driving in the zone after 6pm there's no Congestion Charge
- Like most West End theatres, this one is a member of the Q-Park Scheme. The nearest Q Park is the 24hr Chinatown car park at 20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR, where it costs £18 for up to 3hrs and £24 for 4hrs
- Thankfully you can get a 50% discount if you get your parking ticket verified at the theatre. Just ask an usher
